1. Description of the Service
QTagBack provides smart QR and NFC recovery tags and a secure communication platform designed to help reconnect lost items with their owners.
When a QTagBack tag is scanned:
- Finders may send private messages to item owners
- QTagBack relays communications without automatically revealing personal contact information
- Owners may receive notifications through email and/or SMS if enabled
QTagBack acts solely as a communication and technology platform and is not responsible for the physical recovery, delivery, condition, or verification of any item.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least:
- 13 years old, or
- the minimum legal age required in your jurisdiction
to use the Services.
By using QTagBack, you confirm that you are legally permitted to use the Services under applicable laws.
3. Accounts & Security
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- Keeping your contact information accurate and current
- All activity occurring under your account
You agree to notify QTagBack immediately if you suspect unauthorized access or account misuse.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create security, legal, or operational risks.

QTagBack may investigate suspected misuse and may suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts at our discretion.
5. Finder & Owner Communications
QTagBack privately relays communications between finders and owners.
Users are solely responsible for:
- Information they choose to share
- Recovery arrangements and meetings
- Interactions with other users
QTagBack does not:
- Verify ownership claims
- Guarantee item recovery
- Guarantee the identity or intentions of users
- Guarantee delivery of messages or notifications
Users should exercise caution and good judgment when interacting with others.

- Indirect or consequential damages
- Lost profits or data
- Personal injury or property loss
- Failed recoveries
- User disputes or interactions
In no event shall QTagBack's total liability exceed the greater of:
- the amount paid to QTagBack in the previous 12 months, or
- USD $100
Some jurisdictions may not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
